Mission Statement
Inspiration behind the foundation

Though no longer ran by the Fish family from 1974 until O. A.'s passing in 2022 he and Charlotte led the vision given to them by God to a establish a camp where children could experience the love of Christ and experience his life changing salvation. Each year hundreds of kids came to camp whether they had the means to pay or not. Over the years thousands of children were saved. Lives were changed. OA and Charlotte made sure that the camp didn't only minister to the children but to the employees and the community at large. Without considering profitability they just asked God what he would have them do. From this mindset cam bible studies for anyone interested, counseling, speaking engagements and various events over the years. Neither took a salary from the ministry believing God had called them to do so. Even when times were hard, money was scarce and health issues arose they stayed focused on following Gods plan. Together they had built a relationship with people locally and in fact worldwide. Because of their sincerity and integrity, supporters gave in time and finances as they felt led. in fact, that integrity and genuine sincerity. The camp was able to operate debt free throughout their tenure.

Our Biblical Foundation

Our work is guided by God’s Word and what it teaches us about caring for children.

Proverbs 22:6 — “Start children off on the way they should go…”
We support early spiritual teaching and mentoring so children grow up with strong faith and character.

Psalm 127:3–5 — “Children are a heritage from the Lord…”
We see children as a blessing from God and help them grow strong, confident, and prepared for life.

Ephesians 6:4 — “Bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.”
We encourage loving, patient guidance that teaches truth without harshness.

Proverbs 29:17 — “Discipline your children, and they will give you peace…”
We support programs that help kids grow through loving structure and encouragement.

Deuteronomy 6:6–7 — “Impress them on your children… talk about them in daily life.”
We believe faith should be woven into everyday moments at home, school, and in the community.

Matthew 18:6 — "But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea."
We take child protection seriously and work to ensure every child is safe and supported.
